Created in conjunction with her two-person show LOOPHOLES at Fuller Rosen, Medina's publication Recordar es Construir is a reconstruction of memory, images, symbols, and meaning. The book, built in four chapters, contains photographs, watercolor paintings, analog and digital animation stills, writing archives, collages, and drawings; it is a visual exploration of what it means to remember, to drum up feelings of nostalgia, to long for something past.
